Hello and welcome to another Blog from the Globe Apartments.

Another busy week for us. We had many Defence Force Staff moving to and from our Defence Bases here in Wagga.

Wagga is home to both Kapooka Army Base and the Forrest Hill RAAF Base.  Kapooka was built on a large farm on the south side of the Pomingalarna Reserve in 1942 because of defence needs during WW II.

RAAF Base Wagga has been an important role  in the local Wagga Wagga community, and has done since since 1940. RAAF Wagga delivers technical and non-technical initial trainingt and post training that is fundamental to the delivery of Australia’s need for military objectives.

With the warmer weather upon us it was a good test for our new additional air conditioner unit to help make our larger apartments cool and comfortable. In Wagga on Tuesday the mercury hit a top of 38, our first hot day for the year.

We hope everyone is ready for Christmas, which is now just 7 sleeps away.

We hope you have a nice last week of work or are already enjoying your holidays!

From all the team  have a great weekend!
