Hello and welcome to another weekly Blog from Globe Apartments.

Still very busy at the Apartments, with occupancy quite high over the festive season. We are now starting to see the transition from holiday season back to the status quo, with people slowly returning to work.

This week, I’d like to talk about all of the local Wineries and Breweries that guest can enjoy, all a short drive or even walk from the Globe.

Wineries:

Borambola Wines

Borambola winery is located around 25 minutes from Wagga Wagga on the Sturt Highway heading toward Sydney. It is a local family run winery which has been going from strength to strength in recent years. Borambola wines are open for wine tasting 7 days a week during business hours.

Cottontails Winery

Cottontails is set of forty hectares atop of rolling hills providing great views back over Wagga Wagga. The winery is around 15 minutes from Wagga and like Borambola, has wine tasting available 7 days a week. Cottontails also have a restaurant which serves modern Australian meals with and choice of inside or al fresco dining. From personal experience, the  watching the sunset from here is amazing and we can highly recommend it.

Thirsty Crow Brewery

Thirsty Crow Brewery is fast becoming an icon of Wagga and is testament to the owners. Craig had been brewing beers as a hobby for many years before the took the leap and opened the Brewery in December 2010. It is a great spot to visit whilst in Wagga and they have many different beers to try, ever changing with the seasons. You can take a tour of the brewery, chat to the people who brew the beers or just relax and unwind for the day. The Brewery is open for breakfast lunch and dinner and I can highly recommend their Pizzas.

We hope there is something there for everyone!

Enjoy your weekend.
